Observed Strengths:‫ قوية‬/‫نقاط ايجابية‬ Areas in which further development is needed:

* Today’s agenda was reviewed.
*Very good command of the class. The students listen to
you and they wanted to learn.
*Positive reinforcements were used. Groups were
rewarded with points for displaying proper behavior.

* Although the agenda was, the lesson needed to be introduced. For
instance, Children, today we are going to talk the moon, the moon
is……………. One of the purposes of the Engagement is to activate prior
knowledge. Ask questions that specific and meaningful. Asking what
can we see during the night is too broad. Focus student’s attention to
the moon and ask questions that are directly related.
* Lesson needed a better structure. There didn’t appear to be a flow
the lesson. The students went from visualizing to comparing and
contrasting Earth and mooning, followed by who was the person to
walk on the moon.

*Science processing skills were not evident during the lesson. The
entire lesson was an evaluation through questioning. The students
answered three sets of questions
General comments

Topic: Moon

The pacing of the lesson was difficult. The purpose of the activities was unknown to the students. In addition, connections between
the activities was not made clear. Students were moving from one activity to the next without any understanding. The amount of
provided for each activity was insufficient.
