We feel that below components would form a basic electronics kit and would be helpful
throughout your engineering days. As there is a varying range of the items you need, we
hereby suggest you to order your required items from the following sites and/or visit a local
vendor as per your ease, whichever you find reliable, inexpensive etc. Form your teams of
three and at-least order the basic items asap.

1 Breadboard
2.Digital Multimeter
3 Arduino (Uno/Nano)
4 16x2 LCD
5 PCB boards (prefer good quality boards, buy at-least 2-3)
6 Soldering Iron + Solder Wire (can buy a desoldering pump too, is quite helpful )
7 Wire Stripper and Cutter
8 Headers (male and female)
9 Jumpers (male to male and male to females) and Connecting Wires.
10 Resistors (Do buy in sufficient quantity and have a varying range of 1/4W resistors)
11 Capacitors ( both electrolytic and ceramic ones in sufficient quantity )
12 9V HW Battery and DC Jack
13 Push Buttons & Toggle Switches (at least 5 each)
14 Diodes- PN Junctions and Zener diode (5V)
15 LEDs (different colours) and buzzer
16 Opamp IC- LM 358 (at-least 2) (please buy corresponding IC bed too)
17 Potentiometers (10k, 100k)

Basic Components (S.No. 1-4) can be bought over online stores.

Discrete Components like ICs, Diodes, resistors, etc. are preferable to buy from a local
vendor. The shop remains closed on Sundays, so call the person before visiting.
