On-Site Rollforming
Our onsite rollforming services offers the advantages of preserved product quality specifically for long span panels,
and at the same time faster workflow because of reduced material handling. You can establish and monitor your
project schedule since we are with you in the field facing the issues of limited lay down space and unpredictable site
conditions.
Roofing Estimates
Our roofing estimation services will help you in your project planning, specifically –budget preparation. We can
provide detailed roofing estimate for your project in the form of sales quotation, complete with the needed or specified
roofing accessories. You may or may not need to provide the drawings.
Delivery and Installation
We offer delivery services in partnership with our accredited haulers. We also offer installation services also in
partnership with our accredited contractor/ installers. This will aid in the timely project completion.

Facilities
The main plant of UGC is located in Calamba City, Laguna which consolidates all manufacturing operations, designed
to accommodate and deliver specific market and customer requirements. It houses the newly-expanded Color Coating
Line (CCL) and the Polyurethane (PU) Lines. The company also has a PU Line in Davao, Southern Mindanao. All in
all, to date, UGC has 14 Rollforming Plants, 8 warehouses and 4 sales offices across the country.

The Color Coating Line is located in Calamba City, Laguna. The technology is a full continuous
tension line with an annual capacity of 60,000MT. It can process paint systems of Regular
Polyester, Silicone Modified Polyester (SMP), Polyvinylidene Diflouride (PVDF), Solar
Reflectance (Cool Chemistry), and Food Grade Coating system. It utilizes substrates of Hot-
dipped Galvanized (HDG), 55% Aluminum-Zinc, and other Aluminum alloyed coatings with
thickness range of 0.20 to 0.80mm.

UGC has two PU Lines, the first line was constructed in UGC Davao, and the second line was

Overview
The company started as the Union Steel Plant Division of Bacnotan Cement Industries, Inc.
(Bacnotan), a pioneer in the Philippine Cement Industry. It began commercial operations in
1963 with a galvanizing plant in Poro, La Union for the manufacture of Galvanized Iron (GI)
sheets, expanding to Ilang, Davao City in 1968 and to Calamba, Laguna in 1990. In 1993, the
steel plant was spun off from Bacnotan as a separate business unit, and incorporated as
Bacnotan Steel Corporation, later renamed UNION GALVASTEEL CORPORATION (UGC). The
company in 1997 established a modern Continuous Galvanizing Line and Color Coating Line
for the manufacture of prepainted galvanized steel coils in Calamba, Laguna.
Today, UGC is the market leader in the manufacture and distribution of prepainted and other
galvanized roofing, and of galvanized steel building products such as building system
components like steel deckings, c-purlins, door jambs, steel trusses, pre-engineered building
structures (PEBS) and insulated panels for commercial, industrial and residential applications.
The company has the largest and most diversified distribution network in the industry, with
rollforming plants, warehouses and sales offices in strategic locations throughout the country.
The Company’s slogan ‘SA TIBAY AT GANDA PANALO KA!’ speaks of an utmost commitment

STEEL STRUCTURES are fully fabricated as designed in accordance with the specifications of
the customer, shipped to site in completely knocked down condition; and assembled and
erected at site.
These steel structures are pre-designed using computer aided design analysis into standard
sizes, spans, bays and heights. And use standard details for fixing purlins, cladding, roofing
gutters, flashing, windows, doors, etc. taking advantage of industrial practices of mass
production of components economically.

Today, UNION GALVASTEEL CORPORATION is the market leader in the manufacture and
distribution of prepainted galvanized roofing and other galvanized roofing and other galvanized steel
products such as steel decking, building systems’ components and insulated panels for commercial,
