1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal) : I need to
use checklist to assess my student in the centres while they are Woking.
2. I need to focus more in my questions when I ask the students .

3. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used). I will use different types of
questions and I will use checklist to assess the student when they are working in the centres and observe
them when they are working .

4. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence). I will see the level of each child .

Circle time : Greeting the students and ask them about the weather and the day and the date . remind them

Explain for them that they will learn new sound .

Show children flash cards of words that start with letter r .

I will let the students to give me words that start with letter r and I will ask them to write letter r on the
board .

T : I will give each child sky pic , glue , scissors, cotton and colour paper .

S: children will stick the cotton on the sky pic , they will cut the rainbow colors of the paper and the
will stick it .

T: I will give each child paper with letter r and different pictures .

S : children will write letter r and they will circle pictures that start with letter r .

Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

T : I will give the children in the group rainbow buzzle with numbers .

S : children will count how many dots under the rainbow . they will count each dot and they will put
the number that under the rainbow with dots . \

Activity 4 : I will give each child paper with different letters .

C : they have to find letter r and circle the letter r.

Gather the children again on the carpet and ask them what did they learn today?
