Photography Project
Objective: To capture real world application of the elements or principles of art using
photography.
Procedure: While exploring the parks at Universal Studios you will find interesting and unique
examples of the elements or principles of art and design. Use your phone or other device to take
pictures of at least 7 examples. Have fun with this project. Images can be obscure close ups of
objects. Make sure images are clear and focused.
Elements: line, shape, color, texture, form, space, value
Principles: rhythm, movement, balance, contrast, emphasis, unity and pattern
You can tag your photos to: barbervacomp on Instagram or create a PowerPoint when we return to
class. Make sure you label each photo with your initials and the element or principle if tagging to
Instagram.
