It is an honor to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ian Solorzano in his desire to pursue
higher education.

I have known Ian since August 2014 and I have been impressed in his ambitious dedication in staying
focused in all his classes and activities. It has been of great pleasure seeing the perseverance and the
great attributes Ian poses.

Ian is a hardworking student that has the drive to succeed in his studies as he continuously works to
graduate high school with a 4.0 GPA. I have been highly impressed how Ian was able to be involved in
his school activities, clubs, and football all four years of high school. Moreover, Ian is a humble young
man, polite, caring, outgoing, and a hard-worker. One of his main goals is ​pursue a bachelors and
become a Nurse Anesthetist; which I have no doubt that Mr. Solorzano will be able to achieve this
amazing goal. Furthermore, Ian plans to attend ​Merced Community College​ for his general education
and then transfer to a CSU campus to further his education. On another note, Ian has been involved
with leadership on campus, does a great job as my assistant, and was able to take pre-calculus honors
during his junior year. Also, Ian was able to complete more than 100 hours of community service and
is currently employed as the host at an IHOP. Ian is a young man that cares about his academics but
when he has free time he enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, basketball and helping others.

Lastly, it has been a pleasure in getting to know the great attributes that Ian possesses and his
commitment for a brighter future. Ian is a focused gentleman that is ready to embrace any challenge
that comes towards him. I am confident that Ian will achieve his goals and continue to succeed in life.
He is a valuable asset and I recommend him for any endeavor he chooses to pursue. If you have any
