Introduction to the Weetech WK 260

The testers of the WK 260 family are designed to meet the needs for testing automotive har-
nesses or functional elements. Most efficient test algorithms offer versatile programming and
testing methods and result in highest test speed. New hardware solutions protect the testers
against external voltages and allow at the same time to switch voltages up to 50 V for functional
test applications.

Features
• Max test current 100 mA, max test voltage 20 Volts
• Thresholds for continuity, isolation and resistor test:
• Fast comparator mode: from 5 Ohm to 200 kOhm ±5% ±2 Ohms
• Standard mode: from 1 Ohm to 200 kOhm ±1% ±0,5 Ohms, from 200 kOhm to 10 MOhm ±5%
• Voltage for short test can be set by parameter from 0,1V to 20V
• Test of capacitors from 10 nF to 1000 uF ±10% ±1 nF, test of inverse polarity for electrolytic capacitors
• Test of diodes for open, shorts and reversed
• Test of keys and switches, LED and relays
• Ability to switch external voltages up to 50 Vdc/ 200 mA

Configuration details
• Up to 20 boxes WK 260 xx can be connected for a total amount of 20.480 test points
• Distance between 2 boxes can be 20 m maximum, distance from first to last box is 100 m maximum

• on board Remote interface with 10 inputs and 8 outputs (7 open collectors- not potential free, one
output combines open collector and relay eg. for parallel switching of beep and module ejection) for
remote operations and driving adaptation devices
• System Out and System In D-Sub connector to connect further WK 260 TC boxes for expansion
• Power supply 24V/ 0,625A (max 1A)
• up to 16 pcs. TM 260-64 with 64 test point can be installed for a maximum of 1024 test points per box

• Expansion box without power supply, additional power supply requested for each uneven box
number only, WK 260 PC counts as box number 1 (see position 4)

• System Out and System In D-Sub connector to connect WK 260 PC basic unit and further WK 260 TC
boxes for expansion, IN/OUT cable needs to be ordered separately in the required length (see
position 5)
