Match a group of object to the correct number by counting each object.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1) - medium level

Give them number cards, let them count how many are there? Count, write the number then arrange
in order.

Independent Experience(small group activity 2) – high level

Place the numbers in an incorrect order
3-5-1-4-2-6-0. Then ask them to sort it in the correct order and write the number names on their
board.

Independent Experience(small group activity 3) - high level

Place the number cards on the floor with one missing number let them find out that number and
explain why it would fit there
