This semester I need to be professional in managing my classroom.
1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)
My goal is to make sure that all the students know the sounds of the letter W.

2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)
I will do the three activities to make sure that the students learn the letter.

3. Describe how you can tell if you’re achieving your goal (Evidence)
I will do the checklist to make sure that I achieved my goal.

Introduction: laptop, YouTube, board, flashcards. I will make sure that I have all the resources for the activity.

Activity: clay – cubes – clothes clip – shape wheel. I will make sure the computer is working.

Firstly, I am going to open hello song and ask them to song with me as a warmer activity, then I am going to
show shapes video and it is include four shapes, circle, rectangle, tringle and square.

After that I am going to ask them what you saw in the video? also I am going to show them the shapes

Students:

they are going to sing with me hello song, and they will respond while I am asking the questions. They are
also going to tell me what the four shapes and they are going to tell me how many sides dose every shape
has.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

The students will have a different size of cubes and they are going to make the four shapes with the cubes.

Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

This group will have make the shapes with the clay.

Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

Student will have the shape wheel and clothes clip and they are going to put the clip on the right shape.

I am going to open clean up song and sing with them, then I will ask them to set on the matt.
