Product Topic: The Influence of Art on Society

Time segment: 60 minutes

Expert Collaboration

Procedure: I came to see my mentor to talk about my e-portfolio, and my presentation and go

over other stuffs. I spend first period with her to talk about some bullet points of information for

my project, she gave some advice on how to present and dress formally for my presentation. We

also came up with another product, the idea is to go with the EC students and ask them to draw a

picture and ask them how they feel whenever they do a drawing.

Reflection: She told me that I’m doing a great job on my work, and we came up with another

idea for my product, the idea is to go to the EC class and ask the student to do a painting or any

other artwork. She told me not focus too much in all my work to focus on how good I’m going to

do and not to get nervous, I also emailed the EC teacher and she agreed to let spend class time

with her students.

Learning Stretch

Procedure: I work hard every step of the way, I looked up information for my research, I

ignored technology for a while and actually art has a lot of influence in our world than we think.

There a places that art helps them to think things thru.

Reflection Log: Through all my process of my Capstone Experience, I learned a lot about my

topic, about the history of art, and its future, and present situation, art is such important thing that

helps people mentally and physically, because there are a lot of people in this world who go thru

depression every day and anxiety and they don’t know how to reach or what to do, art is there for

them it helps them focus on their problem and find a solution they did not thought about. I want

to help others to understand how art can change our lifes.

Problems & Solutions

Procedure: During the time I was doing the problem I decided to so a survey now the problem

was that not every student answer my survey, also my other product with the EC kids did not

went as I planned.

Reflection Log: I worked my survey out I decided I will only take the people who answer my

survey and use their answers and for the kids I decided it was best for me to learn from their

point of view of art, some of them are really good at drawing and they don’t know that, I glad I

spend my time with them.

Product Topic: The Influence of Art on Society

Reflection

Procedure: Stress was one of the things with this project especially on the research paper, typing

the paper and make sure is grammarly corrected and use the proper citation was exhausted, on

top of the I get home late around five in the afternoon and still have to cook something for me

and my family.

Reflection Log: I managed to work on my research paper essay, every time in between classes

whenever I finished a assignment I would work on my essay paper. Now at home I decided to

ask my siblings to help me whenever they did not had assignments to do, I also manage not to

procrastinate on my work, that does not lead to any good and it would become a habit of nature,

and doing that would not be healthy or benefit you at all.
