Piezoelectricity (also called the piezoelectric effect) is the appearance of an electrical

potential (a voltage, in other words) across the sides of a crystal when you subject it
to mechanical stress (by squeezing it).
HOMO and LUMO are acronyms for highest
occupied molecular orbital and lowest unoccupied
molecular orbital, respectively. The energy difference
between the HOMO and LUMO is termed the HOMO–
LUMO gap. HOMO and LUMO are sometimes
referred to as frontier orbitals in Frontier molecular
orbital theory.

Fermi level is the term used to describe the top of the

collection of electron energy levels at absolute zero
temperature. So at absolute zero they pack into the
lowest available energy states and build up a "Fermi
sea" of electron energy states. The Fermi level is the
surface of that sea at absolute zero where no
electrons will have enough energy to rise above the
surface.
