Act it Out!

Directions: With your assigned group, come up with your own real world situation that involves
recursion. Then create a 2-3 minute skit of your situation to act out to the other group. Make
sure to create any props necessary for the skit. Following the skit your group will show the rule
that was used to find the long-term behavior of your population.

What to include in the skit:


● Your situation explained
● The factors that affect your situation
● Initial population
● Long-term behavior
● What one “step” is for your situation (remember: in the class activity, 1 step was a year)
● Restock amount
● Rate of change (population increases or decreases by this amount each step)
