ACTIVE AND PASSIVE VOICE

Beberapa syarat yang perlu diperhatikan:

1. Objek kalimat aktif berubah menjadi subjek kalimat pasif.
2. Tense dari kalimat pasif mengikuti tense kalimat aktifnya.
3. Verb 3 dalam kalimat pasif dibentuk oleh verb pada kalimat aktif.
4. Hanya kalimat aktif yang berobjek yang bisa diubah menjadi kalimat pasif.

Pola umum passive voice: John helps the man. The man is helped by John.

Simple present: Mary helps John John is helped by Mary

Present progressive: Mary is helping John John is being helped by Mary

Past progressive tense: Mary was helping John John was being helped bu

Present perfect: Mary has helped John John has been helped by

Past perfect tense: Mary had helped John John had been helped by
