Interview with the Foreigner
In negotiation with the foreigner we approached one of our acquaintances from Nigeria, named
Abiola. We interviewed about his background, education and his experiences regarding his stay
in Pakistan. He has been in Pakistan from last 9 years and he did graduation in computer
science from Preston University Islamabad. He is a frequent traveler having visited several cities
of Pakistan and the northern areas. Currently, Abiola is pursuing his interests in application
development. He is also a fond of performing arts, having played a role in ISPR production,
“Siachen” beside several other theatrical dramas.

Business Negotiation
In business negotiation video, our group visited Islamabad Hotel as event managers who
organize farewell/welcome parties for university students on contract basis. Therefore, we
negotiated with the hotel manager on the conduct of a farewell party in Islamabad Hotel of 100
students who are graduating this month. The negotiation included bargaining on the rate per
head which will be charged by the hotel and the food that should be included in the menu. The
negotiation started from a rate of Rupees 1200 per person and the parties closed the deal
successfully at the rate of Rupees 900 per person.

Negotiation in Daily Life
Negotiation in daily life was done with our subject teacher Sir Umer Ghauri. The scenario was to
convince him to submit our group’s two project assignments which we were not able to
produce on time. Therefore, our project was on stake and our grades would suffer badly if he
refuses to submit those assignments. The negotiation was concluded at an agreement that
assignments will be submitted but 20% marks will be deduced from the rewarded marks.
