I'm currently a senior at Carson High School's ESET (Environmental Science, Engineering,
& Technology) program. It is an honor to be applying for your summer internship. I understand
the program is extremely beneficial students in finding their careers. With my love for the
environment, my dream career is to involve protecting the environment. But for now, I seek real
world experience to widen my dreams. With this program, I see an opportunity to gain
knowledge, experience, and connections. All are important factors that are crucial for my dream
career. With my dream in mind I am determined to give my overall best effort to your company.
As you will see from the enclosed resume, I am an active member in my community. One
leadership role I would like to mention is in the Go Green Club. I was chosen as Clean-up
Coordinator for my organization, team working skills, commitment, and enthusiasm for the
environment. With my skills, I have been working hard to make the club active and helpful. I
was recognized for my knowledge of STEM and my problem-solving, cooperative, and hard-
working skills, and so I was offered a volunteering opportunity with YMCA to assist elementary
students with their STEM activities. Thanks to opportunities like these, I have been able to
improve in necessary skills such as communication and problem solving.
