Incident Handling in Turbine

Eliminate the root cause of the incident, to limit the development of the incident,

equipment is not in peace then as far as possible to maintain the unit continues
running.

B. Shutdown insiden: Shutdown insiden biasa dan shutdown insiden emergency

Syarat shutdown insiden emergency

Supposedly break va cc um u n t u k shutdown emergency incident k a l auturbine to
the following conditions:
1. Unit sudden loud vibration or can be clearly heard the sound of metal hit.
2. Speed turbine rises to 3360r / min but Emergency Trip is not working.
3. Air impact for steam mixed with water (carry-over)
4. Sealing gland tip burn.
5. One tersuplai bearing no oil or return oil bearing temperature very fast ride.
6. Leakage big on the main steam pipe.
7. Increase the return oil bearing temperature exceeds 70 ℃ , bushing temperature
exceeds 100 ℃ or in the bearing billowing smoke.
8. System oil fire and not be able to quickly extinguish the fire.
9. Level oil in the oil tank suddenly fell below the lowest level and with emergency
refueling, but still has not happened.
10. Pressure lubrication oil drops to 0.0196MPa
11. Axial Displacement rotor melebihi ±1.5mm
12. Generator billowing smoke
13. Back casing valve venting bekerja.

 How peng operation of an u ntu k emergency shutdown

1. Contact with electrical team to immediately start black start generator, then
immediately press the Emergency Trip or press the shutdown button.
2. Check the MSV, valve control, the extraction check valve, primary extraction and a
secondary extraction manual valve manual valve should be closed.
3. Check the speed of the turbine should go down (usually eg normal protection, MSV is
closed and automatic generator trip switches)
4. Quick start DC oil pump (when one turbine running), all equipment that running is
converted into a shutdown condition.
5. After the auxiliary power restored, immediately close the valve outlet each piece of
equipment running, start HP oil pump, CWP, BFP.
6. Open motorize valve dan manual valve vaccum breaker, atur level hot well.
7. Saat speed naik sampai 200r/min start jacking oil pump.
8. After the rotor gear turning static start and stop running and gland sealing heater
fan.
Shutdown InsidenBiasa
Syaratshutdown insidenbiasa :
It shall not break the vacuum utntuk shutdown if turbine ordinary incident to the
following conditions:
1. Pressure steam inlet is greater than 6.4MPa ato steam inlet temp is greater than
470 ℃ and could not get back to normal.
2. Pressure steam inlet is smaller than ato 2.05MPa steam inlet temp is smaller than at
360 ℃ and could not get back to normal.
3. Vacuum condenser lower than in -0.061MPa
4. Rod dislodged or broken governor, governor or bulkhead rotary valve stuck.
5. Vibarsi bearing greater than 0.06mm and bigger.
6. Pressure steam inlet is lower than 2.6MPa, but higher than 1.76 MPa and in a short
time can not back to normal.
7. The temperature of the steam inlet is lower than 370 ℃ , but was higher than
360 ℃ , and in a short time or can not return to normal.
8. Vacuum lower than - 0.073 MPa , but higher than in - 0.061MPa and in a short time
can not back to normal .

 How to shutdown operations ordinary incident

1. Reporting to shift leader, after the start auxiliary power diesel generators, turbine to
reduce the burden of auxiliary power, set the speed units DEH 3000R / min , stop the
turbine.
2. Segera start DC oil pump.
3. Cek MSV, GV, para extraction steam check valve, valve manual primary extraction,
valve manual secondary kecepatannya turun.
4. Open the valve to break the vacuum, all the equipment running is converted into a
shutdown condition.
5. After the auxiliary power returns to normal, quick start HP oil pump, CWP and BFP.
6. Bukasemua turbine drain valve (keeping with the condition)
7. When the speed drops to 200R / min start jacking oil pump.
8. Rotor statis dan vakum sampai nol, stop gland sealing mensuplai steam, catat idling
time, kontinyu turning gear mulai running, start AC lube oil pump, stop HP AC
motorized oil pump.

Shutdown ETS protection

Syarat Shutdown Ets Protection :
1. Axial displacement greater than (± 1.5mm)
2. Turbine TSI over speed (3300 r/min), DEH over speed 3270 r/min
3. Temp return oil bearing tinggi (70℃)，radial tile temperature
4. 100℃，thrust bearing return oil 70℃, thrust bearing 100℃.
5. Value vacuum condenser (- 0061 MPa ), bearing vibration # 1,2,3,4 0:07 mm.
6. Pressure lube oil is lower than at 0:02 MPa
7. Generator play protection work so that shutdown
8. DEH problematic device.
9. exciter device is problematic.

After ETS shutdown protection that works as follows:

1. Alarm sounds turbine trip.
2. MSV, GV and extraction check valve is closed and terindika sisinyal close.
