Parahawking is paragliding with trained birds of prey. Our birds are trained to fly with us,
guide us to thermals and even perform aerobatic manoeuvres. It was first developed and
pioneered in 2001 by the Frontiers Paragliding team and has now become the new “must
do” activity.
Frontiers Paragliding offer a variety of unique and exciting Parahawking and Falconry
experiences from our home in Pokhara, Nepal.
All Parahawking and Falconry tours will be led by our team of Paragliding and Falconry
experts including Parahawking pioneer Scott Mason.
Summary:
Have you ever imagined what it would be like to share the sky with a trained bird of prey, to be
a part of their world and to literally have a birds eye view? - Well now you can! The Parahawking
Tandem flight is quickly becoming globally recognised as the new “must do” activity.
Now you too can experience parahawking by taking a tandem flight with one of our trained birds.
Marvel as our bird guides us through the skies and then call him to land on your gloved hand as we
fly. We’ll even film the whole flight from our on-board cameras. A totally unique and unforgettable
experience – sure to be the highlight of your trip to the beautiful Pokhara valley!
