Lesson: Two
Topic: The Golden legend
Objetives: 1. Attend to the indications of the teacher during the game and activity
2. Identify the names of the characters, elements and actions of the golden legend supported by
images.
3. Associate the word found in the alphabet soup with the exposed image.
4. Use the dictionary as a support to learn new words.
5. Learn new vocabulary like tribe, ritual, frog, jewel, gold, emerald, cacique, lagoon, animal,
courage, love, dexterity, crafts, war, honesty, justice, discipline, moon, sun, raft
Materials 1. Alphabet soup.
2. Images of the golden legend.
3. English Dictionary.
4. Colors.
5. Spanish notebook

Procedures Time
Introduction Based on previous knowledge, a brainstorm is made about the words 10”
that may appear in a legend. This activity is done with the help of the
dictionary and the student must have the agility to find the word and
expose their writing in the shortest possible time
Stage 1 The students make a list in their notebook, of 15 words that can 10”
New words appear in the golden legend.
Stage 2  Pictures are placed on the board related to the words to be found 25”
Letter soup solution in the alphabet soup.
 Each student receives his alphabet soup without knowing what
words to find.
 In chips they are shown the word to look for in their alphabet
soup, the students observe it and then the word is thrown to the
floor and while the basket falls, the students must find it in their
alphabet soup. Whoever finds it first wins.
 Whoever finds the word must pick up the tile from the floor and
paste it next to the image of the corresponding board.
 The activity is carried out until the 20 proposed words have been
found.
Extra activities Some students expose the solved letter soup, and the list of words in 10”
Work exhibition English and Spanish
Follow up and homework Taking into account the images and the words given, they should write 5”
a sentence with each given word, using the verb to be, in present
tense affirmatively
Lesson evaluation Each student reviews the vocabulary learned and in the next class 30”
each student will write a short story, using those words.
