Apaca Point, 270 yds offAgat, and 650 yds off Bangi

5. PHYSIOGRAPHY: (See Cross-Section B-B).

a) Provinces: The area may be divided into the

Coastal Plain, the Foot-Hi 11s, and the Mountains.

b) Coastal Plain: This ielatively 1 eve 1 pi a in 180 yds

wide is covered with fine-textured clayey and silty

soils. Coconut groves, semi-dense underbrush, cogon-

grass, and weeds are widespread. Rice-fields under

cuItivation lie southeast of Agat and behind Apaca

Point, where the plain widens into a broad flat, its

surface broken locally by rounded, 20- to 60- ft knobs.
