ACTIVITIES WEEK 1 – PROFICIENT

The first week of the course starts on Wednesday, April 18th and ends on Tuesday,
April 24th.

For additional information about the activities for this week, click on each of the
options below.

Update your registration card

The first thing you need to do is update your REGISTRATION CARD (FICHA DE
MATRÍCULA) in the Oficina Virtual. (http://sis.senavirtual.edu.co/index.php).

Remember it's very important to do this procedure during the first week of the
course, since it will ensure your permanence on it.

Lo primero que tienes que hacer es actualizar su tarjeta de registro (FICHA DE

MATRÍCULA) en la Oficina Virtual. (http://sis.senavirtual.edu.co/index.php).
Recuerde que es muy importante hacer este procedimiento durante la primera
semana del curso, ya que se asegurará su permanencia en él.

Take the induction test

Explore each of the links in the course main menu to get familiar with the Blackboard
platform.

Then, click the link "Induction", have a look at the guides and tutorials and take the
INDUCTION TEST inside the folder "Induction Activity". Remember that the test
accounts for 5% of the course final grade.

Explora cada uno de los enlaces del menú de plato principal, para familiarizarse con
la plataforma Blackboard.
A continuación, haga clic en el enlace de "inducción", echar un vistazo a las guías y
tutoriales y tomar la prueba de inducción dentro de la "Actividad de inducción"

Introduce yourself in the social forum

Participate in the SOCIAL FORUM with a short introduction. Don't forget to include
your name, age, occupation, hobbies, expectations for the course, and anything else
you want to share with us. This activity also accounts for 5% of the course final grade.

Participar en el Foro Social con una breve introducción. No se olvide de incluir su

nombre, edad, ocupación, pasatiempos, las expectativas para el curso, y cualquier
cosa que quieras compartir con nosotros. Esta actividad también representa el 5% de

Complete all the lessons for week 1 in Tell Me More

Once you are done with the previous activities, click the link "Tell Me More
Access". You will be directed to the Tell Me More platform. Follow the preliminary
instructions, and then complete step by step the following 4 lessons:

1. Living in America

2. Seminar planning

3. Market research

4. Additional module

Una vez que haya terminado con las actividades anteriores, haga clic en el
enlace de "Tell Me More de acceso". Usted será dirigido a la plataforma Tell
