On some Aspects regarding Horizon 2020 Projects influence over Circular Economy Innovations Components

Paper abstract

The article is focused on Horizon 2020 programs influence over the circular economy innovation components,
according with European Union issued documents. This research is trying to find out which Horizon 2020 projects
have an essential contribution to the circular economy goals accomplishment. According with this issue we were
calculating the “Aggregation coefficient” (AcHP) which represents the complex influence of 18 HORIZON 2020
projects’ part over 17 Circular economy – components. A multicriterial quantitative and qualitative analysis is
done, regarding with the influence of Horizon 2020 programs over a 17 circular economy innovative components
. We are using the basic concepts of circular economy to represent accurately the Horizon 2020 proposed
projects in this area, taking into account existing innovation resources and zero waste objectives. Circular
economy represents a development strategy that entails EU economic growth using Horizon 2020 programs
without increasing consumption of resources, deeply transformation of production chains and consumption habits
and industrial redesign at the system level. Development of a new conceptual framework for business process
modeling and analysis using circular economy innovative theory as a source for future business knowledge
management .
