Instructions: Each question must be answered in a short paragraph with complete, grammatically
correct sentences. All minimum writing requirements apply (Correct spelling, punctuation, etc.). I am
looking for honesty above all else.

1. Backward-Looking
a. In what ways have you gotten better at this work? How can you improve moving
forward?
I have gotten much better with asking questions, and finding great solutions to problems that come up
during any process. With leaving for college, coming up in the near future, I will need to learn the correct
questions to ask in a timely manner. That is exactly what myself and my group has done throughout this whole
project. Moving forward into our college years, we will be able to think ahead and find questions that should be
asked in order to confront a situation before it even happens.

b. What problems did you encounter while you were working on this piece? How did you
solve them?
The biggest issue our group encountered more than once, was all being in class at the same time, in
order to discuss certain situations. For a little while there were times that a member from our group was gone
on some type of trip. It was difficult only since we wanted to make sure that member approved of what was
going on. Therefore, we just pieced it together until everyone was back. Also we then had to work harder in
order to stay on track of our progression.
2. Inward-Looking
a. How do you feel about your work? What parts of it do you particularly like? Dislike?
Why? What did/do you enjoy about this work?
Our project came together very nicely. Our work completed was done either ahead, or on-time. Our 3-D
model looks absolutely amazing, and stands out from other groups, since we were the only group to do such
thing. It represents what the downtown could really look like, and that is exactly what we were going for. Also
the whole tri-fold has a great layout! We simply took the board and added some great photos, strong
information, along with lights to catch viewers eyes & demonstrate lights needed in our downtown area.

b. What did you learn about yourself as you worked on this piece?
Throughout this project, I learned that using my strong-suits of my “artsy”-side really benefited strongly
throughout this group. I was always looking at the placement of objects, and the composition of the whole
project as a whole. From the layout of the board, to the organization of our table, even to the future look of
Hanover, my eye of art had a great hand when it came to organizing a beautiful downtown.

3. Outward-Looking
a. Did you complete your work in the same manner as those around you? How were you
different?
I, no doubt, feel that our group worked well to complete our work on time, and even in a better fashion
that anyone in the class. We went with the progress outline given to the whole class, along with jumping
around and having a slight one of our own. We were the first group to start our presentation board, as well as
having a game plan come our presentation day. Looking at everyone in the presentation room, our project
stuck out as the best. Our 3-D model was very above and beyond and pretty well brought our project to life!
The lights on our board, and 3-D model brought in the attention and attracted the viewers. Finally, the TV we
were lucky enough to snag and put our photo-slideshow on was a great touch.

b. If someone else were looking at this work, what might they learn about who you are?
By looking at our work, any viewer will be able to see the amount of time and hard effort put into it.
They
would be able to learn that when it comes to a serious project, we don’t take it lightly. Instead we rather go all
in, by having lights, models, and a big/nice slideshow to show off how much we care and work to get a good
appeal in the end.

4. Forward-Looking
a. What would you change if you had a chance to do this work over again?
There is not much I would change when it comes to this project. Everything came together very nicely
and all the work done was solid. However, I wish I could have done more work outside of class time, but with
being totally busy after school, every night until late in the evening, it was difficult. That being said, I was not
exactly able to put the little bit of extra work that one of my team members had.

b. Describe a weakness that was highlighted during the process of completing your work,
and describe what you will do in the future to overcome your weakness.
A weakness I had was slightly stated in the answer above. My available time out of school hours is
limited or late. So I would say that I weakness was simply hard work outside of school. If a part absolutely
needed done I was be sure to get it completed. However, if it was just extra add-ins for the project I would not
be able to do so, since if there was time and effort for me outside of school, it was more likely put towards
another class, if needed. In the future I will simply learn to balance work better to stay ahead in all classes that
way I can put extra into each class work evenly, and strive higher.
