Pappas sets CHS record

Senior breaks 28-year-old mark in cross country

August Pappas broke a 28-
year-old school record when
he ran a 15 minute, 33.6 second
race on Saturday at the New
Boston Huron Invitational. The
senior broke the record set by
Mark Brosnan in 1982.
“We moved up to run with

Abernathy earned a medal by
running a lifetime best of 19:08.
“We had nine personal-best
times,” Swager said. “It was a
