Official Response to Daily Maverick in response to questions sent on 15 May 2018

Dr Wood has not been formally advised of the NPA’s declining to prosecute the
Bramley case. Please advise where you received this information in order that Dr
Wood may follow this up.

Dr Wood reiterates that this case is without merit and was simply brought as a
device by Regiments in an attempt to enhance Regiments’ position in civil
disputes between Dr Wood and his former partners at Regiments, namely Niven
Pillay and Litha Nyhonyha.

In regard to the NPA preservation order, please check your sources. You will find
that this matter has been withdrawn against Trillian.

In regard to the Eskom McKinsey review Trillian is already on record as having

opposed this matter. The parties to the case are the NDPP, Eskom and McKinsey
(who have also opposed). Trillian understands that the Deputy Judge President
has prescribed times for the filing of answers and replies in this matter as well as
for the hearing is the matter. Please refer to Eskom who are running the matter
for further details in regard to the timetable prescribed by the Deputy Judge
President.
