As part of the improvements we are currently updating how we capture, process and respond to
candidates feedback. We encourage candidates to send us feedback via the Candidate
Comment Sheet, the Online Assessment Feedback or email us at any time at
comments@iwcf.org.
We understand the importance of questions being clear and understandable to all candidates.
For this reason we are standardising the language within our questions which means that
questions are written and reviewed in a style that is clear and direct, so that the candidate knows
exactly what the question is asking. Graded language eliminates ambiguity, slang, complex
tenses, and colloquial expressions making the language “straightforward” and easy to process
for both native and non-native speakers. Graded language also ensures that technical
competency; not English language competency is tested.
We have also introduced a multi-tiered review process, including a team of technical experts, to
ensure all feedback is reviewed and amendments are made where required. In addition, we
have a team of international translators with extensive well control experience working on
updating all questions to improve the quality of translations in the languages we offer.
We've already introduced significant changes based on candidate feedback and we encourage
candidates to continue to provide us with their feedback.
In order for us to investigate feedback and make amendments to specific questions, we would
ask that you provide us with:
