AND REGULATIONS
The University grounds are private property, giving the
University the right to take action against violators of the parking
and traffic regulations. Please remember that driving and
parking of a motor vehicle on campus is a privilege, which may
be withdrawn at any time by the Ateneo de Manila University.
The Ateneo de Manila is a pedestrian friendly campus. It is
expected that everyone within the University premises abide by
these rules and regulations.

Ang pamantasan ng Ateneo ay isang pribadong lugar.

Ito ay may karapatan na magpatupad ng mga regulasyon,
manghuli at magdisiplina sa lalabag sa mga regulasyong
ito. Ang pagmamaneho at pagparada ng inyong sasakyan
sa loob ng campus ay isang pribilehiyo na maaring bawiin
ng Ateneo anumang oras. Inaasahan ng Pamantasan ng
Ateneo na ang lahat ay sumunod sa mga ipinapatupad
nitong batas trapiko.
 Traffic
1. All traffic/parking rules and regulations are in effect 24/7.
Lahat ng batas trapiko at panun-
tunan sa parking ay ipinapatupad
24/7.

2. The speed limit on the University streets is strictly 30 kilometers

per hour (30kph).

Ang speed limit sa mga pangu-

nahing lansangan ng Ateneo ay 30
kilometro kada oras.

3. The speed limit within the University parking zones (e.g.

University Dormitory, driveways) is strictly 10 kilometers per
hour (10kph).

Ang speed limit sa paradahan

(parking zones) ay 10 kilometro
kada oras (10 kph).

4. Drivers of the vehicle without the current ADMU gate pass
stickers entering the University must surrender a Driver’s
License upon entering the university premises. Security
guards have the authority to confirm identity of the people
entering the University premises. Using a vehicle once a week
is considered regular usage, hence requires a gatepass sticker
for the vehicle.

5. Pedestrian have the right-of-way at ALL TIMES on designated

areas. Always give way to passing pedestrians. Stop at least 1
meter before a pedestrian lane.

 6. Motor vehicles (including motorcycles) and bicycles may only
be driven on roadways as sidewalks and path walks are for
pedestrians.

7. University motor vehicles may be driven through sidewalks

and passageways to allow access for emergency, service and
repair.

8. Cross the streets using the pedestrian lanes. Jaywalking is

strictly prohibited. Pedestrian lanes also known as zebra lines
are intended for pedestrians. As pedestrian, you must look to
your left and then to your right before crossing the street.

9. Use of cell phones while driving is strictly prohibited.

10. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly

prohibited. If you drink don’t drive; if you drive don’t

11. Headlights must be turned on from dusk until dawn while

driving in the university campus.

 12. Drivers must follow all traffic and street signs inside the
campus. Alteration, removal and defacing any of the signage
are prohibited.

13. Drivers inside the campus must observe all applicable traffic
rules and ordinances of Quezon City and MMDA in addition
to the rules and regulations of the university.

14. Driving, road and pedestrian courtesy must be observed at

all times. Threatening or verbal abuse of students, fellow
drivers, parents, traffic enforcers/guards, or any member
of the university community is considered a violation of
ADMU traffic rules and regulation.

15. Loading and unloading is allowed at designated areas only.

 Parking
1. Parking is allowed only at designated areas. It is strictly
prohibited to park on main roads, driveways, sidewalks, path
walks and loading zones.

Ipinagbabawal ang pagparada ng sasakyan sa main

road, driveway, sidewalk, path walk at mga sakayan
(Loading Zones).

 All vehicles with Ateneo stickers are allowed to park only at
designated areas. Ateneo stickers are color coded according
to units (Central Administration: Red; Grade School: Yellow
and Orange; Junior High School: Orange; High School: Light
Blue, Loyola Schools: Navy Blue; Affiliate Units: Gray.

Lahat ng rehistradong sasakyan na may sticker ng Ateneo

ay dapat pumarada sa tamang lugar. Ang bawat kulay ng
sticker ay nauugnay sa partikular na yunit ng unibersidad.

 Likewise, parking areas bear signages for Administrators,
Faculty/Staff, Students and Visitors.

2. Leaving the engine on while parked is strictly prohibited.
Save gas and save the earth. The university promotes a
clean and green environment; fumes coming from vehicle
would be harmful to health.

Ipinagbabawal ang pag-iwan ng umaandar na makina

ng sasakyan habang ito ay nakahinto. Magtipid sa gasolina
at panatilihing malinis ang kapaligiran. Ang usok na galing
sa umaandar na sasakyan ay hindi makakabuti sa ating
kalusugan.

 3. Overnight parking is strictly prohibited. Cars may be allowed
to park overnight at designated overnight parking areas, only
in cases of emergency and official school functions. Parking
beyond 10 PM at the Northwest and Diversion Car Parks is
also strictly prohibited.
The University is not responsible for any loss or damage to
vehicles parked overnight inside its premises.

Ipinagbabawal ang pagparada ng magdamagan liban

kung may emergency o official school functions. Ang
pagparada nang lagpas sa 10 PM ay ipinagbabawal din.
May sadyang lugar para sa overnight parking. Ang
Ateneo ay walang aakuing resposibilidad sa pagkawala
o pagkasira ng inyong sasakyan kapag ito ay iniwan sa
paradahan nang magdamag.

PROCEDURE IN SECURING AND
OVERNIGHT PARKING PERMIT
Mga Patakaran ng Pagkuha ng Overnight Parking Permit.

v Office Hours

• University personnel and students should secure an

endorsement from the school unit prior to Central
Facilities Management Office’s approval.

• Kinakailangang humingi ng pahintulot mula sa school
unit bago aprubahan ng Central Facilities Management
Office.

v After Office Hours

• For Emergency requests after office hours, proceed to

the campus security office located at the Blue Eagle Gym
and secure a permit for overnight parking.

• Sa di-inaasahang pag-hingi ng pahintulot after office
hours, pumunta lamang sa Campus Security Office sa
Blue Eagle Gym at kumuha ng overnight parking permit.

 4. Cars must be parked properly and may not occupy two parking
slots. Parking in any manner which obstructs the free flow of
vehicles is prohibited. Make sure your car is always within the
space allotted for one car.

6. Leaving your vehicle unlocked while parked is not allowed.
The University is not responsible for any loss and damage to
property inside the vehicle parked within the campus.

Ipinagbabawal ang pag-iwan ng sasakyan na bukas.

Hindi mananagot ang pamantasan sa mga bagay na
mawawala sa loob ng sasakyan at sa anumang pinsala sa
mga kagamitan na maiiwan sa loob nito habang nakaparada
sa loob ng kampus.

 The traffic enforcer/personnel designated to enforce
these traffic/parking rules and regulation shall hand a violation
ticket to the driver/pedestrian or will place a violation ticket
on the front windshield on the passenger side of all motor
vehicles/cycles being cited in violation of traffic/parking rules
and regulations. This will serve as proof of legal delivery of the
violation ticket. Non-receipt of the traffic violation does not
invalidate the issuance of the violation ticket. Please settle your
traffic ticket violations immediately.

Ang mga traffic enforcer na inatasang magpatupad ng

mga regulasyon ay magbibigay ng kaukulang violation ticket
sa sinumang lalabag sa mga regulasyong. Maaring ibigay ang
violation ticket sa inyo nang personal o iwan sa windshield ng
inyong sasakayan. Ito ay katibayan ng inyong paglabag. Ang
hindi pagtanggap sa violation ticket ay hindi nanganaghulugan
ng pagabsuwelto sa nilabag na regulasyon.

 Persons who receive the violation ticket have the right to
appeal. The written appeal must be submitted to the school
unit where the vehicle is registered within 10 working days from
issuance of violation ticket. The appeal must be submitted to:
