Analysis Artifact

For our physics class we were asked to make a powerpoint on who is more creative boys or
girls. To figure out who is more creative my group and I had to analyze the data provided based
on different designs each boy and girl did. To analyze the data we had to calculate the mean
and range for both genders. As a result boys are more creative than girls.

My artifact is an analysis because in order to conclude that boys are more creative my group
and I had to calculate both male and female data sets. To analyze the data we first had to
gather the data which we got from the designs made on our project cars that we had recently
finished. To calculate the data we had to add and divide both boys and girls design scores. We
also had to compare both data sets and graph our results.

The Student Learning Outcomes used to complete this artifact are Critical thinker and Willing
collaborator. I was a Critical thinker by calculating the data and graphing our data which led to
our conclusion that boys are more creative than girls. I was a Willing collaborator by working in
a group that we were assigned and working together to come up with our result.

Achieving this artifact has helped me learn how to compare and calculate data. Working in
random groups has also helped me to be open minded and take my group mates ideas and
responses into consideration. Being a Willing collaborator will benefit me in college and at work
when working with co workers or fellow students.
