What you need:

6’x2’ playspace
Terrain
100pt warband

Objective: ensure at least 50% of your warband leaves the opposite edge of the board. A model
may leave the table if their movement would take them off the 2’ edge of the board opposite its
deployment zone.

Deployment: Your warband starts with every warband member’s base touching your 2’ edge of
the table.

Place one relic on the board in the middle of the table. Draw a random relic if it is picked up.

Spawning Monsters
At the beginning of the game, randomly generate a monster. You can use the Seeker’s
Handbook for this or the MonsterCard created by David Porter at Relicblade Alliance.
At the start of every monster phase, roll a die. On a 4+, monsters spawn. Roll a d6 for every
monster model spawned:
● On a 1-2, the monster spawns with its base touching the start table edge closest to a
player model.
● On a 3-4, the monster spawns with its base touching one of the long 6’ edges at the
closest point to a player model.
● On a 5-6, the monster spawns on the leaving table edge at the closest point to a player
model.
Note: Monsters may spawn in base contact with a player’s model and thus engage the model. In
this case, the monster counts as charging.

Monster special rules

● Monsters only activate in the monster phase starting with the model furthest away from
player models.
● Monsters will always move toward the closest visible, not disabled, and player-controlled
character and attack it.
● If a monster starts its activation unengaged, that monster gains an additional action die
that may only be used for movement.
● If a monster already has an action that can be performed multiple times, it receives +1
action die that can only be used for that action (ie. actions that has an “x2” next to it).
● Monsters are treated as hostile toward all players.
● A monster that spawns in base contact with a player model counts as charging.

Victory Conditions:
50% of a player’s warband leaves the table via the leaving table edge.
The points values for upgrades that are consumable (such as the Health Potion or Murder of
Crows) do not count towards the final scoring points if the upgrade is completely used.
The relic is worth 10 extra points to the player whose warband left the table with the relic.
Multiplayer (2+ players) - Untested

Cooperative Multiplayer
Half of the player’s team of models must leave the opposite board edge. Player warbands
deploy within 3” of a point which is equidistant from each other deployment points- starting in
the corners. Roll off to see who places their warband first.

Multiply the monsters spawned by the number of players.

Competitive Multiplayer
Players compete to leave the edge of the table first and/or with more points than their
opponents. Player warbands deploy within 3” of a point which is equidistant from each other
deployment points- starting in the corners. Roll off to see who places their warband first.

Twists
Competitive: players can start on opposite short board edges and race to the other side.
