& EVALUATION

Class: Intermediate Nr. of Students: 7
Duration: 1.50 Topic: Kids

Aims: Develop students understanding and recognition of relative clauses and the past time
using "used to" and "would".
Parctice of the kind of language we use to talk about childhood and memories.
Enrich students' vocabulary related to education and childhood.

Learning Objectives: After sharing a class discussion, group discussion/pair work discussion
and solving quizzes, exercises students will be able to recognize relative clauses and use them
properly in context in order to describe the world around them and also they will be able to talk
about past habits using the constructions "used to" and "would"

Possible Problems: vocabulary problems, listening comprehension problems, students don't


like writing so they might feel uncomfortable when we do writing exercises, when they have to
think of a past event some students migth feel bad because it is possible that they remember a
sad event.

Equipment Required: handouts, paper and pen, blackboard, cd/cassette player

Assessment Opportunities: worksheets, cooperative learning activities, small group/partner

LESSON EVALUATION

What happened, compared with what was planned?


Problems with timing, we can't always finish the lesson we planned. Students might ask extra
questions or they don't understand something and we must stop and take some time for
explaining.

What aspects of the lesson were successful?


The interactive games, students usually like when they are involved in discussing all points
together with the teacher.

What aspects were not successful?


Probably some students are sensible when speaking about the past.

How might the lesson be changed next time?


Involving more exciting exercises.
