MOTION TO RESET HEARING OF ARRAIGNMENT

COMES NOW the Accused, through its counsel, unto this Honorable Court
most respectfully states THAT:

1. The accused desires that he be represented by a private counsel since he was

disallowed to be represented by the Public Attorney’s Office;

2. The services of the undersigned counsel were only contracted on ___ August
2017, per Formal Appearance filed on _____ August 2017;

3. The accused has to secure with the Honorable Prosecutor’s office and the
Honorable Court concerned the documents it will be needing to prepare
intelligently relative to its case;

4. However, there is no ample time for the accused to secure and engaged with
a counsel because of what happened in _____, where the accused is currently
employed;

5. Thus, the accused humbly requests for a resetting of the hearing;

 6. At the same time, and for purposes of brevity/economy, the undersigned
wishes to inform this Honorable Court of her entry as counsel for the accused
____ and prays that she be served with processes of this Honorable Court at
the address specified herein below, to wit; and

7. The motion was made in good faith and not intended to delay the proceedings
in this case but solely for the aforesaid reason.

WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, it is most respectfully prayed of this

Honorable Court that the present Motion be GRANTED and to allow the accused to
be arraigned to another date, subject to the availability of the Honorable Court’s
calendar.

Other reliefs just and equitable are likewise prayed for.
