About Bansal Sir
The success story of V.K. Bansal seems
something like miracle. A will to survive
made him a teacher. His Courage,
Determination and Vision changed the
course of fate & gave him a new lease
of life. He has learnt to live through
teaching.
Born in Jhansi on 26th October 1949, Mr.
Bansal had his schooling in Lucknow,
graduated in Mechanical Engineering
from Banaras Hindu University with
Honours in 1971 and began his career
as a Mechanical Engineer. He has two
daughters and one son.
Many people know that the Bansal
Classes is run by an engineer, V.K.Bansal
who had been working in J.K.Synthetics
Ltd. Kota.
But few people know about the man who
turned to be a silent teacher quitting from
his engineering profession. The success of
his institute is the success of a man, who
suffers from muscular dystrophy disease.
Life of Mr. Bansal has been full of ups &
downs. It had been bright & cheerful
till the age of 25 years but in 1975 he
was diagnosed with a incurable disease
The beginning was made with
a 7th class student while residing in
H.No. SQD-13, J.K. Nagar, Kota.
“Muscular Dystrophy”. It was shocking
when his efforts to get treatment at AIIMS
and many other hospitals in the country
failed. He consulted Ayurvedic Experts,
Natural Therapists and even doctors in
UK but with no relief.
He became disturbed and life was full of
disappointments. It was indeed a great
misfortune. While serving in J.K., as a
mechanical engineer, he continued his
search to come out of his misfortunes.
In such a situation an advice from a
doctor of London, proved to be a boon
for Mr. Bansal. The doctor advised him to
turn to teaching and forget about the
disease that had gripped him. It clicked
and Mr. Bansal says, “I had a sort of
sensation in my mind while reading the
letter from the doctor and felt that this
could be the cure of my disease. “
He was not sure whether he could teach
engineering or other students but in
1981 he started tuitions, not for money
but for a change. The beginning was
made with a 7th class student while
residing in J.K. Nagar, Kota.

Mr. Bansal devoted himself to studies and
teaching students in such a way that he
was left with no spare time to think about
his disability.
During this period he taught Engineering
Entrance Exam students. His first student
to be selected for IIT/Roorkee was Anoop
Kothari. It was in 1985. The number of
selections went on increasing gradually
year after year. Results of his students
were so encouraging that students from
all over India and neighbouring countries
started approaching him.
This built his confidence further. The
number of students who cracked IITJEE
in 1986 from his coaching classes was 3
and went upto 10 in 1990. The number
rose to 209 in 1999. In 1999, 10 students
were in the top 100 All India Rank.
Soon he had a new building constructed
near his house for coaching classes. It ran
from 9 in the morning till 9 in the night.
Teaching students in groups of 15 and
managing everything with dedication,
devotion and hard work, became the
secret of his success.

About NITs
There are 30 NITs spread across India, in various states. The NITs at Surathkal, Warangal, Trichirapalli, Calicut are among them.

Till 2012 admission to these reputed institutes was through a national entrance examination called All India Engineering Entrance

Examination (AIEEE). But now under the new scheme of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), AIEEE is rechristened as JEE MAIN. It is

the first part of the JEE that caters to the admissions into NITs and IIITs. The rank list is put up based on formula - 40% weightage

to normalised Class XII board marks (or other qualifying examination) + 60% weightage to the score obtained in the JEE MAIN

Examination.

Personal Care of each student is a distinctive feature at Bansal Classes,

individual/group counselling for our students. These counselling

During counselling problems of students are tackled by our experienced
faculty team and academic advisors. Students are guided on issues like
efficient learning, time management, stress management, maximizing
output etc. Students are also educated to manage non academic
personal problems efficiently so that they can concentrate more on
the examination preparation.

In our institute we schedule our classes after the school hours so that
there is no inconvenience to the students.

Healthcare at Bansal Classes
(a) For any medical help required by our students we have medical
officer. The medical consultancy is provided free of cost to our
students.
(b) We have a modern and fully equipped physiotherapy centre
“Chiraayu” wherein a full time physiotherapist is available for
consultation with nominal charges.
(c) Moreover we have a good rapport in nearly all hospitals in the
vicinity of our institute. These hospitals have nearly all facilities
related to various departments so as to take care of any problem
your ward faces during day or night.
Bon Appetite - A Canteen
A healthy mind in a healthy body
Good hygienic food in good ambience is important too. Gaurav Tower
has an ultra modern 5000 Sq. Ft. canteen area which can accommodate
many students at a time. Drinking water and hygienically cooked
refreshment is available in the canteen. There is an informal lounge area
too within the hall where students can relax and spend a few minutes
interacting with fellow students.

Accommodation Facility
Accommodation is one of the key issue to be addressed for a student
during the tenure of coaching. The most important factor to be
considered while selecting hostel in proximity to coaching and safety of
the child. A new hostel for its purpose is built adjacent to Bansal Classes.

The air-conditioned rooms with attached toilets in this hostel are
fully furnished with beds, bed linen, study tables, book shelves and
cupboards. Dinning and laundry facilities are part of the package.
