PRICES
Prices are subject to change wjthout notice with orders being billed at prices in effect on date ot
shipment. Written quoiations are valid only if accepted within 60 days. Sylvania reserves the right to
withdraw any quotation prior to its formal acceptance. Shipments will be invoiced at prices in effect
on the date when shipments are made unless specifically covered by a contractual bid or special
quotation. Prices are subject to increase by the amount of any present or luture taxes or increase in
taxes upon the manutacture, sale, use or transportation (or any acts incidental thereto) of fixtures,
fixture parts or accessories imposed by Federal, State, Municipal or other public authorities which the
seller may be required to pay.

PAYMENT TERMS
Each invoice is due and payable on the 15th day of the month next following the month in which it is
dated. The Distributor will be allowed a cash discount oI 2o/o ot the net amount of the invoice for
payment on or before that date, except when otherwise noted. Net Cash: 30 days. Minimum charge per
order: $7.50,

TRANSPORTATION
The Manufacturer's delivery terms are F.O.B. lpswich wjth transportation allowed to destination within
the confines o{ the United States exclusive of Alaska, Hawaii and United States possessions on an
order calljng for shipment of 200 pounds or more to one destination. No transportation will be
allowed on any order for shipment of less than 200 pounds except when otherwise noted. (NOTE:
Caribbean Fixtures are F.O.B. lpswich with lreight allowed on 8 or more standard packages within the
conlines of the United States.) Orders for drop shipment may be custom packed at the Manufacturer's
opt ion.
€ For delivery on an order calling {or shipment of 200 pounds or more to Alaska, Hawaii and United
States possessions, sold F.O.B. Ipswich, transportation wjll be allowed to nearest point of embarkation.
No transportation will be allowed on any order for shipment ol less than 200 pounds.

TITLE
Title passes upon delivery by Sylvania to the carrier.

CANCELLATION
Orders are not cancellable except on payment lor work performed and materials purchased.

RETURNS
Sylvania fixtures will be accepted for return only when approved in advance and when bearing an
R.A.R. number obtained from Sylvania at the time of approval.
Requests to return fixtures must be made within 6 months of shipping date and must indicate
distributor's order number and date, or Sylvania's invoice number and date, as well as lisiing quantities
and Sylvania ordering number subject to the following conditions:
i. Material must be clearly marked with the R.A.R. number and shipped transportation prepaid to
lpswich.
2. Material must be unused, currently listed and in good condition, and in original cartons. Special
fixtures may not be returned.
3. Credit will be based on current or prrchased price at Sylvania's option and will be subject to de-
duction for transportation expense both ways and minimum handling charge of 150/6 of the invoice
value and reconditioning charge, if any.
4. Returns may be limited to 10% of the billed price of any one job.
Sylvania fixtures returned because of manufacturing defects or shipping errors will be accepted for
lull cred it.

GUARANTEES
Sylvania will replace without charge or at its option will grant credit for any Sylvania luminaire or
luminaire part which, upon inspection by a Sylvania representative, is found to hav€ a manufacturing
defect or which is found to have {ajled under normal installation and operating conditions and when
operated at rated voltages within a period of one year from the date of installation. Damage caused in
transit or in handling is excluded lrom the guarantee.
Ballasts which become inoperative within ballast manuiacturer's warranty may be exchanged {or new
ballasts at the ballast manufacturer's service centers.
The 1oregoing defines the manufacturer's sole liability hereunder and in no event shall Sylvania be
liable lor tabor charges arising from the changing of defective fixtures or parts or, except as herein
provided, for any damage, consequential or otherwise, o{ any nature whatsoever.

All orders for Outdoor Lighting Products will be directed to Sylvania Electric Products lnc., One 48th
Street, Wheeling, West Virginia. The customer will receive an acknowledgement of the order on the
form entered. Questions on various orders should refer to the customer, his order number, and the
sales order number shown at the top of the Jorm. Such inquiries should be directed to Wheeling
Customer Service.
Orders for Outdoor Lighting Products and Commercial and lndustrial items will be on separate orders,
except on PDQ Program. Combining these orders for discounts on prices or freight allowance is not
to be allowed. However, orders may be combined on any Outdoor Lighting Products to qualify for
freight allowance.

This series of floodlights is the result of a recent Sylvania breakthrough in both lamps and fixtures. These low
cost, high efficiency units teature a single-ended 250 watt or 500 watt, 120 volt iodine quartz lamp with screw
base that offers 5000 and 10,000 lumens respectively and color that doesn't change. The SFL-500-102 is
similar to the SFL-135'102 but is for use where the extra output of a 500 watt unit is needed.
Smart, modern styling, amazing versatility, rugged quality construction . . . These are the leatures that make
the Sylvania Caribbean Series unique. Their rugged design includes a cast aluminum housing and sockets
constructed of special corrosion and heat resistant materials. A hard glass clear lens acts as a shield to keep
the rellector and lamp clean.

MTH Luminaire Series

Sylvania's MTH luminaire was designed to meet many exist-

ing requirements for private area lighting. The luminaire
consists of a diecast head incorporating N.E.M.A. Type A
requirements, thereby permitting interchangeabil ity of many
existing programs. The Sylvania MTH offers many economies
because; (1) The head can be mounted on either 1ya-inch or
2-inch mast arms with no external parts or tools necessary
for a change in mast arm diameters. A reversal of the clamp
accomplishes this adjustment; (2) A new socket design which
affords maximum ease of installation; (3) Unique wireway for
ease of installation that does not require threading leads
through the slipfitter; (4) Optjcal assembty: A retractor re,
taining band is self-supporting although secured with a cap.
