NUTRITION MONTH and PARENTS COOK FEST

As a part of the Nutrition Month Celebration, the MIS held its Annual Parents Cook fest. The
theme for this year is “Bahay Kubo”. Every grade level has their representatives who
successfully prepared a nutritious dish made up of vegetables that can be found in barrios.

March 25-27, 2018
The SSG and COMELEC team manning the SSG campaign and the election proper. This is to
inculcate in them their right to suffrage and the importance of having a clean and orderly
election.

SCHOOL-BASED MATHEMATICS WEEK CELEBRATION

The Mathematics Department facilitating hand-in-hand the school-based mathematics week

celebration. The event consisted of mathematical and logical activities such as quiz bee,
sudoku, rubik’s cube, etc. This is to inculcate in the pupils and student the importance of
developing and sharing their talents in mathematics and logic.

DIVISION LEVEL MATHEMATICS WEEK CELEBRATION

The winning students and coaches participating the division level mathematics week
celebration. The event consisted of mathematical and logical activities such as quiz bee,

importance of developing and sharing their unique and rare talents in mathematics and logic.

The Junior high school students and teachers joined the 41st Milo Marathon held at Clark
Parade Grounds. It was also participated by the different schools in Angeles City. The marathon
started at exactly 5:00 am.

Metrobank-DepEd-MTAP Math Challenge

January 19, 2018
The schools’ math wizard and their coaches participating the annual Metrobank-DepEd-MTAP
Math Challenge. The coaches also participated the contest by facilitating, validating, and
checking the test papers of the contestants.

OUTREACH PROGRAM – MUNTING TAHANAN NG NAZARETH

February 1, 2018
The MIS community visited our brothers and sisters at Munting tahanan ng Nazareth and
prepared a simple lunch and gifts for them. It was such a great feeling to be part of this activity
and to see the smiles on their faces. Giving is indeed one of the greatest feelings in the world.
Through this little act of kindness, you can inspire and spread happiness.

SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
January 11 – April 19, 2018
The Philippine Science High School grade 12 students who rendered a project proposal which will aid
the MIS in dealing a critical campus dilemma–bullying. The group visited the school several times to
observe communicate and analyze the community to determine its nature and possible needs. They
have also sponsored a seminar to the grade 6 and 7 students, for whom bullying is common, in order to

The LRRMDS supervisor marketed and trained the school librarians and student leaders
regarding the modern computer-based library – the STARBOOK. This is to help the public
schools acquire a library for the students without worrying the space it will consume.

MAPEH DAY
August 31, 2017
The High School department conducting the 1-day MAPEH day. The event consisted of random
games, volleyball, badminton, sepak-takraw, and basketball. While this event inculcate in the
students the importance of physical education, its purpose is also to determine those athletes
who will represent the school in the upcoming ACAAA.

SSG MEETING DE AVANCE

February 26, 2018
The SSG election candidates face-to-face during the Presidential and Vice-Presidential
Debates. The candidates were interrogated comprehensively by the emcee and also the
students about their platforms and how are they are going to materialize them. This is to instill in
the students the importance of voting objectively and wisely.

October 6, 2017
The school-based Teachers Day Celebration was held last October 6, 2017 at Malabanias Integrated
School. Different surprises were prepared by the parents and students. The students of MIS had an
opportunity to greet and share a token of appreciation to their best persons in life- their dear teachers.
