Factors relating to the utilization of health services in Cikampek Health Center

Karawang regency Year 2017
Abstrak
The quality of public health services needs to be continuously improved, the
community will decide to utilize health service facilities based on the factors that influence it.
The ratio of Puskesmas to 30,000 inhabitants tends to increase in 2011 to 2013, but decreased
by 2014 by 1.16% and by 2015 by 1.15%. Puskesmas Cikampek is one of health center with
the highest outpatient visit in Karawang. Four out of 10 villages in Cikampek sub-district
have problems with malnourished babies. The low level of economy and enthusiasm of
society to the posyandu program is the cause of the weakness of nutrition to children. The
purpose of this research is to know the correlation of knowledge, attitude of officer, family
support, insurance ownership and perception of illness with consumer behavior in utilization
of health services in Cikampek Health Center Karawang regency Year 2017
This type of research is quantitative with Cross Sectional design. Method of sampling
using accidental sampling method. The sample of this research is 85 respondents. Bivariate
analysis using Chi-Square and multivariate test using multiple linear regression test.
The result of Chi-Square test shows that there is a significant correlation of
knowledge (p = 0,049 OR 2,730), family support (p = 0,023 OR 3,054), ownership insurance
(p = 0,001 OR 5,176) with utilization of health service at Cikampek Health Center 2017.
attitude of officer (P = 0,182 value OR 0,521) and perception of pain (p = 0,506 OR 1,389)
there is no significant relation. The result of multiple linear regression test shows that
insurance ownership is the most dominant factor. It is suggested that Puskesmas Cikampek
can improve service to patient of insurance user, support cadre and health insurance officer is
very important in informing about importance of health insurance usage. Health workers are
also expected to provide counseling and motivate the community to provide health services
that are already available in Health Center can be utilized equally by the whole community.
