Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology (UCST) Dehradun is a leading SCIENCE COLLEGE with
holistic and innovative approach. UCST has earned an educational and innovative niche since its
establishment in 2001, which finds its reflection in the recent research publications in National and
International research journals by the students and faculty members, and 95-100% University resuets (visit
website www.ucstdoon.com).
The Institute has also introduced a programme in M.Sc Bioinformatics at the campus, the provider of a
lead in the development of new drugs, and the management of diseases developing resistance to the already
recommended drugs.
Besides expansion of educational horizontals, the Institute has greatly gained on the innovative
verticals with the science doing(s) and research publications by the faculty members and the students at the
campus, (please visit Google : Type Dr. S. S. Sawhney for innovative information of the campus).
The Institute is very much alive to connect itself proactively with the industry and hook with the wide
spread of its Alumni across the country. The wide spread Alumni is proactively kept informed to enable them
to keep pace and stay pace with progress and new programmes at the campus.
With its multifaceted academic and infrastructural strength, UCST is forging ahead towards creating
spaces to interactive structures of knowledge with stress upon the reasonable balance between theory and
practice-an essential element for achieving right level(s) of academic verticals.
The laboratories, library and computer centers are instrumentally and manly well equipped meeting all
the demands and needs of the students as per the University syllabi.
It is a matter of pride to register that the undersigned and Uttaranchal College of Science and
Technology Dehradun have been conferred upon, Art of Education Excellence Award (2010), International
Achievers Award and International Kohinoor Award (2011).
The employment rate among the UCSTians is very encouraging. The offered courses equip the students
to find the suitable jobs. The Institute finds many takers for its UG and PG level courses. The campus over a
period of 11 years has earned a mini India status.
The parents and the admission seekers are welcome at our campus to gain on the first hand information
on the academic and research standards at the campus.
