To: Whom It May Concern

From: Dave Adams, Field Experience Supervisor at the University of Lethbridge
Re: Kyle Masson

The purpose of this letter is to speak on behalf of Kyle Masson as a character reference. It was
my good fortune to supervise Kyle in his Professional Semester Two practicum placement in
Raymond Junior High School and know him to be an outstanding person for a myriad of reasons.

Kyle is a talented student as verified by his marks at the University of Lethbridge. He attended
all his classes without fail, and has been a positive role model for his peers regarding the
importance of education. Kyle is projected to graduate with his degree on time with good grades.

Kyle did an outstanding job in his practicum placement. He quickly adapted to the culture of the
school and thrived on the energy of the students. Kyle was successful in both the classroom and
gymnasium settings with his students. He was able to form positive relationships with his
colleagues, staff, parents, and students alike.

Kyle is a terrific colleague and major contributor to the culture of success of those around him.
He helps those around him whenever they are in need and he is a natural leader. He is willing to
speak up and say both authentic feedback and positive affirmation when needed. He
demonstrates outstanding leadership skills and takes initiative with his students.

Kyle showed passion for improving the lives of the students through his practicum through the
Education Faculty at the University of Lethbridge and will go on to be a tremendous teacher and
community leader. He volunteers his time for improving the lives of students and encouraging an
active lifestyle.

Kyle was an outstanding student to supervise in the placement. He was willing to accept
constructive criticism and use the information to improve his teaching. Kyle created good lesson
plans and long-range unit plans in his practicum.

In conclusion, I fully support Kyle as an outstanding person who projects to be a quality

educator. Thank you for your time and consideration. Should you need any further information
please feel free to call me at 403-329-2698 (office at the University).

Sincerely,
Dave Adams B Ed M Ed
