ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES Integration

The Permanent Mission of Ecuador to the Organization of American States presents its
compliments to the General Secretariat and has the honor to request that it inform the members of the
High-Level Commission of the request for the Report on Honduras to include the following topics:

- Analysis of the political and democratic situation in Honduras

- Analysis of the current status of individuals who participated in the coup d’état in
Honduras. Among other issues that should be analyzed under this heading is the high
level of impunity for coup leaders who violated the human rights of Honduran
citizens

The Permanent Mission of Ecuador to the Organization of American States avails itself of
this opportunity to convey to the General Secretariat the renewed assurances of its highest
consideration.
