Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all participants on Elementa Leadership Limited open programmes,
seminars and events.

Attendance

 Elementa Leadership Limited will confirm in writing when they receive a booking form or application
form for any event.
 We reserve the right to change the advertised programme, speakers and contributors for an event
without prior notice to participants.
 We will make every effort to give participants reasonable notice in respect of a change of venue,
postponement or cancellation of the event.
 Participants are expected to behave in a professional manner while attending events and to comply
with the terms and conditions of host venues.
 No refunds or credits will be made in the event of a participant withdrawing or being absent during part
or all of the event or programme.
 Participants will indemnify Elementa Leadership Limited for any expenses or other liabilities it incurs as
a result of improper behaviour.
 Materials given to participants during an event are the intellectual property of Elementa Leadership
Limited and the contents cannot be reproduced, in full or part, without our prior written consent.

Fees and Costs

 Fees will be invoiced in advance of the event and are expected to be settled within the payment terms
stated on the invoice.
 Participants will be personally liable for fees if they have committed to a place without the approval of
their employer or sponsor.
 Fees do not include costs for travel to and from the event – participants are expected to make their
own arrangements.
 Food and accommodation will be provided during some events and included in the event fee, as notified
in the event information – where appropriate details will be confirmed by the event administrator.
 All costs for accommodation required before or after an event and incidental costs incurred during
events will be borne by participants.
 Participants are required to arrange their own travel insurance where necessary and participants will
not be covered by Elementa Leadership Limited.
 Should an event be cancelled by Elementa Leadership Limited a refund will be issued covering those
fees that the participant has already paid.
 Should a participant leave their institution between the time of booking and the time of the programme
commencement, the contractual responsibility for the payment (subject to the cancellation terms)
remains with the booking institution.

Cancellation

 All cancellations must be made in writing to Elementa Leadership Limited. To cancel your place email

 Cancellation fees are applicable to the full value of a specified programme, seminar or event from the
commencement date and are as follows:
o More than 12 weeks’ notice – Nil (Full refund)
o Less than 12 weeks’ notice – 100% (No refund)
 Elementa Leadership may, at its discretion, allow the place, on the same programme, to be transferred
to another participant, who meets the particular programme recruitment criteria and who is from the
same institution.
 In the event of a programme being postponed or cancelled by Elementa Leadership, we will not
reimburse any expenses incurred by participants booked before official confirmation that the event is
going ahead.

 In the event of a programme being postponed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of
Elementa Leadership Limited, we will not reimburse any expenses incurred by participants. This would
be covered by the institution’s travel insurance policy.

Limitation of Liability

 To the extent permitted by law, Elementa Leadership will not be liable by reason of breach of contract,
negligence or otherwise for any loss or consequential loss occasioned to any person acting, omitting to
act or refraining from acting in reliance upon the course/programme material or presentation of
events/courses/programmes.

Force Majeure

 Elementa Leadership shall not be liable for any delays or failures in performance or breach of contract
due to events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Data Protection

 Elementa Leadership Limited is the data controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection
Regulation 2018 and Data Protection Act 1998. If you have queries relating to the use of your data,

 If taking part in an Elementa Leadership Limited event, you are agreeing that we may use your data for
the following purposes:
o We will use your contact details to send you information relating to the event you have booked
and to request feedback.
o We may publish your name, job title, organisation and event attended as part of our
promotional materials.
o We may also use your contact details to send you information about other services we offer.
o We may publish your contact details to the member of your participant group as part of the
information distributed prior to or at the event you have booked.
 Except in connection with the activities described above or where required to do so by law, we will not
disclose your data to third parties without your permission.

Law and Jurisdiction

 Any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with
a contract to purchase a place on a Elementa Leadership programme or event will be governed by
English law and all disputes and claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of
England and Wales.
