The forest is the lung of the Earth If we dont have forest, the amount
of carbon dioxide will continue increase which will lead to the global
warming.

Goal : Choosing our 5 topics for the research

Reflection : We finally decided what are the 5 topics that we will

research about.First, is responsibility for the overuse of
Hormone topic.Ming, is responsibility pesticide.Also Tent,is
responsible for Methane emission.And I’m responsible for the
deforestation topic.Lastly,for the health issues topic will be done
by everyone in the group.

Goal : research about the chosen topic

Reflection : I have been selected to do a research about

deforestation. I found out that deforestation is the main problem
that can lead to many other problems. I wrote the information in
the google document.I continued searching about the statistic of
deforestation in Amazon. Finish the part 1 research about the
deforestation in Amazon.

Goal : Finished the research proposal

Reflection : I was responsible for the deforestation part of the

research proposal. I continued to compose the research proposal
by using the information that I found. I cooperate with my group
to help each other to design the research proposal. we finished
the research proposal in the middle of the class. Then, we
continued research about the topic that we chosen.

Reflection : lecture the slide given. learning about monoculture
and polyculture. continued searching about the deforestation.

Goal : Researching about the area needed for the cows

Reflection : I found out that, the farmer calculated the area

needed for a cow by estimate how much grass a cow eats per
year. Then, they calculate the area needed for every cow. Next, I
shared the information with my friends because it is interesting.
Then,I took a note about the information for my document topic.

Goal : Learning about the pesticide.

Reflection : I have learnt about the advantage and disadvantage

of the chemical pesticide.the advantage of the pesticide are save
life , increase , food supply, profitable and work fast. And the
disadvantage of pesticide are ,promote genetic resistance , kill
natural pest enemy , can harm wildlife and people and pollute
the environment. It also kill natural predators in the food chain ,
kill bees or other pollinators.

cow farming

Reflection : Brazil, the world’s largest exporter of beef faced

fines of nearly 300$ million dollars from the government
prosecutors buying cattle raised illegally on deforested Amazon
rainforest land.

Reflection : we did not have much time left for the research
because we have the test to review.But I did research some of
information about the deforestation for the cattle grazing. I also
did the research proposal about the information. I wrote about
the new thing that I learnt from the research.

Reflection : we finished our planning. We will create our

booklet. We will name the title of the our booklet “This thing
worth 25% of our final project”.

Goal : Finish the first page of the booklet

Reflection : We designed the first page of our booklet.We named

our booklet ‘This thing worth 25% of our project grade’.We like
it alot because it sounds very funny and interesting.We finished
our design.Then we planned to make our booklet on tomorrow.

Goal : Finish the in-text citation of the booklet

Reflection : I opened every link that I pasted on the references

page and starts to form a in-text citation for every website that I
have researched. I have about 5 website that I need to do in-text
citation in total. Then, I managed to let my friends print out the
in-text citation to place it in the booklet.
