Logistics

The Trade Enforcement and Facilitation Course will take place at the Ronald Reagan Building,
located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Room B.15-10, Washington, D.C. 20229.
Upon entering the Ronald Reagan Building, go to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection rear
entrance on the Ground (G) Level (marked on the below map with a star). Enter the elevators to
the right of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection security desk, and take the elevators to the
B1 level. Exit the elevators, turn right, and walk down the hallway to the set of glass doors on
your right-hand side. B1.5-10 is on the other side of these doors. Signs and course staff will be
available to help guide students to the course location.

The Ronald Reagan Building is served by the Federal Triangle Metro Station
(Blue/Orange/Silver). Information on public parking is available at https://itcdc.com/parking/.
All questions regarding course registration and administrative issues should be directed to the

During the June 27th and 28th instruction days (Washington, D.C.):
- The Ronald Reagan Building has a large public cafeteria on-site for breakfast, lunch, and
breaks. No refrigeration is available on-site for packed lunches.
- Be prepared to bring government-issued identification (PIV card for USG personnel) to
all sessions of the course.
On June 29th port tour day (Washington, D.C.  Baltimore  Washington, D.C.):
- The course participants will depart at 7:30 a.m. from the Ronald Reagan Building to the
Baltimore seaport, with the bus loading on 14th Street, between Constitution Avenue and
D Street, NW. It is important for all course participants to arrive on time, so the tour is
not unnecessarily delayed. The tour will return from the Baltimore seaport to the Ronald
Reagan Building by 4:30 p.m.
- Course participants may travel separately to Baltimore for the start of the tour. Please
alert the course proctor in advance if you plan to do so. All course participants must
report to the Baltimore Customs House (40 S. Gay Street, Baltimore, MD 21202) by 9:00
a.m. to join the course for the first segment of the port tour. Course participants who
drive separately:
o Must join the tour on the bus for planned travel throughout the day in Baltimore,
and CANNOT drive separately into port areas.
o Will be dropped off in the Customs House vicinity at the conclusion of the tour.
o Will be solely responsible for the costs of their own parking. Numerous
commercial garages can be found in the immediate area around the Customs
House.
- Photography is permitted during the tour, but course participants must NOT photograph
any computer screens, or law enforcement officers without their permission.
- The tour will be conducted, rain or shine. Dress appropriately for the weather.
- The tour will be conducted in areas including asphalt, gravel, and in warehouse/port
environments. Do NOT wear heels, sandals, or open-toed shoes.
- All tour attendees must have government-issued identification cards (PIV cards for U.S.
Government personnel) with them at all times.
