About the Institution
This Agriculture College was established in the year
2017 under the umbrella of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan
Charitable and Educational Trust with an aim to
convert student resource into strong National assets.
At present the course on B. Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture is
being offered from this institute.
This college is keen in promoting the research in
Agricultural and Plant sciences through interaction
among the researchers from the relevant fields by
facilitating and creating a common platform for fruitful
discussion and reviews.
Objectives of the Symposium
The main objective of the symposium is to disseminate
the information of recent developments and outcome
of the research on Agricultural and Plant sciences to
the young researchers, scholars and industrial experts
aimed with a major determination of National food
security. The symposium will host talks from eminent
research personalities and will arrange for oral and
poster presentation which would help to enhance the
scientific temperament of the participants.

Abstract Submission
Original research papers are invited for oral / poster
presentation. The scientific committee will decide on the
suitability of paper for oral or poster presentation.
Abstract not exceeding 300 words should be submitted in
A4 size, Times New Roman, Font 12 with 1.5 line spacing
and not exceeding single type written page as an e-mail
attachment to iaaps2018@gmail.com on or before
02.05.2018.
The full length papers not exceeding 7 pages including
tables and figures may be sent immediately after the
acceptance of abstract.
Eligibility
Research scholars, Students, Academicians, Scientists
from various Agricultural research institutes, State
Agricultural Universities / Colleges, Conventional
Universities and constitute colleges, private colleges
and industrial experts are eligible to attend this
symposium.

The participants are requested to send the filled in
Registration form to the “The organizing Secretary by
email iaaps2018@gmail.com along with Registration
Fee on or before 02.05.2018. The registration fee
includes conference kits, session refreshments and
working lunch. The application form must be
accompanied by the endorsement of the Head of the
Institution / Department / Research Supervisors for
research scholars. Registration fee may be paid
directly/electronically through NEFT with pertinent
information to The Organizing Secretary with the
