liquid film. Because of gravity forces, the water film is drained to the bottom of each mist eliminator module. Smaller water droplets that
do not impinge on the first part of the profiles are accelerated because of a narrower flow channel between two profiles at the barrier.

The accelerated water droplets impinge on the latter part of the profiles (4) and are stopped in the second barrier (5). Special means are
