1. Buried conductors and earth rods are located in accordance with the design.
2. Conductors installed without protection are sheathed (yellow/green).
3. The continuity of the protective conductors (PE), equipotential conductors and other
conductors which form part of the earthing system has been verified.
4. Conductors rising from the floor or ground are protected by means of a conduit section.
5. Buried joints of conductors are protected against damp with a bitumen or similar
compound.
6. Earthing of equipotential connections are provided for machines, panels, equipment,
components and structures, including those outside the electrical installation, as anticipated
in the design and in accordance with reference codes.
7. Air terminations and down conductors for lightning protection comply with the design.
8. Transformer neutrals are correctly earthed.
9. Earthing of concrete reinforcing bars has been carried out, if required by the design.
10. Terminals and earth bus-bars are correctly installed.
11. Protective conductors (PE) and earthing conductors are correctly fixed and protected.
12. Metal sheaths and cable armouring are earthed.
13. Bus-bar joints or conductor fixing bolts are well tightened.
14. Protection against corrosion has been provided and is complete or made good where
necessary.
