EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR OF 5 YEARS

CANDACE
ALLYSE Please accept the enclosed letter of interest and application for
the teaching position at your school. I am absolutely thrilled to
MARTINEZ have learned about your respected program alongside your
caring philosophy. This letter of interest is a fine representation
of my interests, experiences, and skills.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a

CMARTINEZ512@GMAIL.COM Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family
Sciences in May of 2013. In my last semester at UT, I had been
heavily focused on my applied practicum at the Priscilla Pond
Flawn Child and Family Center at the University of Texas Lab
(817)929-5606 School. After numerous hours of observation, experience, and
interaction inside my 3 to 4-year-old classroom I have decided
CINNAMON PATH SIDE B to continue my focus on Early Childhood Education. My
AUSTIN, TX, 78704 responsibilities as a practicum student involved managing a
classroom, being alert, and responsive to our student’s
developmental needs, and teaching independence, as well as pro
social skills. We fostered the children by using positive
guidance methods to ensure that they are expressing their
creativity, individuality, and social abilities at an optimal level.
I continue to show strong efforts of dedication and involvement
as I continue to pursue a career as a teacher at an elementary
level.

Currently I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at Eanes ISD Child

Development Center. My responsibilities are almost identical to
some of the duties and responsibilities exercised within your
program. At Eanes ISD I implement lesson planning, classroom
management, and parent-teacher communication daily. I have
also earned my Texas Probationary Teacher Certification for
TExES 291 Core Subjects EC-6. More recently, I am applying
for my Child Development Master Teacher Permit through the
Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) for the State of
California. I am also committed to joining the Cal State TEACH
program at Cal State University to receive my multi-subject
teacher credential.

I am competent and committed to my education and I can be

effortlessly trained to match the school’s vision to promote
excellence and leadership in the classroom. I want to embrace
the role and responsibility of an elementary school teacher with
the utmost knowledge and superior service. From ample
experience, I am confident in my ability to relay vibrant
communication to children, parents, and administration.
Abilities of this quality can only be taught by the astounding
educators and staff found at the University of Texas at Austin in
the School of Human Ecology within the College Natural
Sciences.

Please feel free to contact me at your convenience, as I

welcome the opportunity to speak with you. Thank you for your
consideration.

Sincerely,

Candace A. Martinez
