Highlights of the career:

• Involved with the University administration (GTU and IITRAM) since its first
notification. Dealing with almost every area of University and its establishment.
• First in the state and second in India to remove question paper printing for
University. Sending encrypted papers in CD to the institute instead of printed
question papers. Release password through professional services via dedicated
networks. Completed five regular exams and four remedial exams between 2008 to
2011, for about 500 colleges as a Registrar - GTU. That saves lacs of Rs. of transport
cost per exam as well as almost full proof safe delivery of papers, eliminating paper
leak issue. It is now a great success. Completed all these exams so far without any
glitches.
• Implemented all operations on automated way, thus minimizing manpower
requirement.
• Conducted GCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) online for the first time in the
state across 11 cities, 26 centres and almost 2700 terminals in 5 days, three sessions
per day in the record project time of almost 45 days in 2009. First of its kind online
computer based test conducted in India for any state level entrance successfully for
23000 students. This exam was conducted prior to CAT 2009, which was online.
 Also successfully conducted GCET 2010 without any glitches in online mode.
• Completed MBA and MCA admissions online with the help of NIC New delhi in
2009. First time for MBA as well as MCA admissions of the state.
• Won national award E India 2009 for (ICT enabled university) - GCET
2009 and also South Asia award -Manthan for GCET 2009. Got
nominated for E Governance award by PMO for the same.
• Executed with ACPC, recruitment drive for Rural Development
Department, Government of Gujarat in January, 2011 involving online
application forms of 1.5 lac students, online test of 50000 plus students
for six different positions in less than 40 days.
• Implemented E assessment as a pilot project in ME. No transportation of answer
book, increased evaluation reliability is achieved.
• Established E- library in 2006, with more than 1400 e -journals available online,
1500 plus e books online and digitization of library as a Library in charge at LDCE.
First of its kind the state education scenario which facilitates 400 plus teachers and
almost 3500 students.
• First to bring PG course in Instrumentation and Control Engineering in Gujarat.
• Dissertation guide for ME (IC) for 25 plus students so far.
• Modernization of placement cell at LDCE. Placement increased from 60 per year to
almost 300 students per year between 2001 to 2005.
• Worked as a coordinator for Technical Education Quality Improvement Program of
the world bank at LDCE. 2005 to 2007
