Overall Comments: 10:14 After announcements, students began their

the room.
10:17 Reviewed the answers to the warm up exercise. Went around
and stamped their warm ups.
10:18 We are going to take a practice final. This is what we're going to
do. I'm going to project it. Take out two different colored pencils and a
pen. Take the final in pencil. If you don't know something leave a
space. When you're done, you're going to grab your notebook, find
what you didn't know and write it in with a different color. If you finish
take out your colored stuff and work on that.
This first part, tell me what it is. Make sure you put the definite article.
We have four translation sections. I'll move that down in 10 minutes.
I'll give you about 25 minutes.
10:20 Students began the practice final. Students work silently.
10:38 Okay guys, if you haven't grabbed your notebooks yet, do so in
the next few minutes. I'm going to post the answers at about 10:47.
10:42 Okay guys, in a few minutes I'm going to post the answers. If
you are done, work on your drawing.
10:45 I'm going to post the answers. Anything that was wrong correct
it. It's going to be out of 30. Answers posted. Students quietly wrote
them down.
10:50 I'm going to collect it. I just want to see how you did. Then I will
give it back.
10:52 Okay, we're going to pass them down. I'm just going to look at it
while you're writing your sentences and then I'll pass them back to
you.
10:53 You only have to write 8 sentences. Choose someone famous
who everyone knows. Students passed up their practice finals.
Alright, get in to groups. How many sentences? 8
10:55 Teacher raised the screen. Here are your instructions. Students
got into groups of three or four. We'll start at about 11:03 so we have
enough time to present them.
Teacher checked that students were in groups.
Students chose a famous person, discussed and wrote sentences
describing that person.
11:01 Alright guys, 4 or 5 minutes and we'll start.
11:03 Alright you guys ready? If you're not ready you can keep
working while someone else goes.
A student from one group stood and read their sentence in French.
Students guessed the person. Winning students got a prize.
11:08 Okay, we have time for one more.
11:11 Bell rang. Class was dismissed.
