1.SIFTING AND MIXING :
1.1 Sift Magnesium Trisilicate, Dried Aluminium Hydroxide ,
and Maize Starch using 30 mesh and collect in prelabeled
double polythene bag and label accordingly.
1.2 Load materials of stage 6.1.1 into the mixer and mix for 10
minutes
2.WET GRANULATION :
2.1 Dissolve Sucrose, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Methyl
hydroxy benzoate, Sodium Propyl hydoxy benzoate and
Colour Erythrosine in boiled purified water
2.2 Dissolve the Maize starch separately in purified water. To
this add the solution of stage 6.2.1.
2.3 Add the paste of stage 6.2.2 to the mixed contents of
stage of 6.1.2 by starting mixer and mix for 35 minutes.
3 SIFTING AND DRYING :
3.1 Use Multimill with 12.5 mm screen.
3.2 Load the sifted wet granules of stage 6.3.1 in the Fluid Bed
Drier. Maintain the temperature at 80 ºC and dry the
granules for 50 minutes.
3.3 Sift the dried granules through sifter and pass the granules
retained on the sifter through the multimill, fitted with 2.0mm
screen and pass the milled granules through 16 mesh.
4 MIXING / LUBRICATION :
4.1 Sift Purified Talc through 30 mesh sieve.
4.2 Sift Magnesium Stearate through 30 mesh sieve.
4.3 Wet the Peppermint Oil with approximately 15 Kgs of
dried granules Stage 6.3.3.
4.4 Mix the remaining granules of stage 6.3.3 and the
granules of stage 6.4.3 for 30 minutes.
4.5 Add lubrication material of 6.4.1,to mix for 3 minutes .
Then add lubrication of 6.4.2 and mix 30 seconds.
4.6 Take samples from 3 different locations, 3 different time
and give them for QC analysis for Uniformity of blend.
