COURSE DESCRIPTION

:

This course deals with the concepts and foundation of business intelligence an information technology approach to data collection

.

and data analysis to support a wide variety of management tasks, from performance evaluation to trend spotting and policy making. Student learn analytical components and technologies used to create dashboard and scorecards, data/text/Web mining methods for and sentiment analysis, and artificial intificial intelligence techniques used to develop intelligent systems for decision support.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

After completing the course, the student must be able to:

To equip students in understanding the concepts of Business Intelligence ;

  • 2. To understand the technological architecture of Business Intelligence Systems,

  • 3. To understand tools and techniques to perform “Business Performance Management” using BI Tools

  • 4. To utilize Mining Algorithms in development of Business Intelligence Application

  • 5. To apply BI enabling technologies in organization settings
