 This year, I am teaching Honors Geometry, Algebra 2, and Intro to College Math full time at
Stoney Creek High School
 In 2013, I was able to teach full time between two buildings, Stoney Creek High School and
Hart Middle School
 In my classroom, I focus on problem solving and critical thinking within my lesson plans, as
well as implementing the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, including the Math
Practices into my curriculum
 Implement classroom management strategies using the Love and Logic approach
 Incorporate technology in the classroom using SmartBoard software, a projector, a
document camera, and a class website on Schoology
 Construct meaningful relationships with all students
 Hold meetings with parents, teachers, students, and counselors
 Keep close communication with colleagues and administrators to continue improving on
the needs of our students
 Spend much of my time in the school community at events, as well as professional
development opportunities
