Excise (Special Provisions) Act No. 13 of 1989

Order under Section 3
BY virtue of powers vested in me by Section 3 of the Excise (Special Provisions) Act No. 13 of
1989, I, Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of Finance and Mass Media, do by this Order,
a. amend Item No. 1(b) and 1(c) of the Schedule II of the Order made under that Section and
published by the Extraordinary Gazette Notification No. 2044/32 dated November 09,
2017, by substitution of the following Schedule A hereto; and
b. amend Item No. 02 and 03 of the Order made under that Section and published by the
Extraordinary Gazette Notification No. 2047/25 dated November 28, 2017 by substitution
of the following Schedule B hereto.
This order shall come into effect from February 16, 2018.
